Steve ads - 3/9/15 at 01:42 PM

Hi guys I'm after a bit of help with a clutch cable I'm changing gear boxes and the clutch fork is now on the opposite side so I need a longer cable can anyone recommend a place that does custom one or one that's got a big of length to it I can't use the original cable as its too short and the new box had a hydraulic clutch

Cheers Steve

Better to fit a mastercylinder go hydraulic

often worth seeing what RHD / LHD versions use.
edit. just re-read your original, and now agree with BT just go hydraulic.

What engine/ gearbox combination do you have? If your still using the Xflow then I would suggest having a look at the Burtonpower website , they list clutch cables for Ford along with the lengths . Failing that try Speedy Cables for a custom cable or convert to hydraulic

Sierra cosworth ones are long, 2wd and 4wd slighlty different lengths but over 2m, transit is long too.

Sierra and later Transit cables use an automatic adjuster quadrant so not easily manually adjusted
