Front spring height Viento Owners
Could anyone with a viento please tell me how many threads they have visable from the bottom of the spring platform on the front shocks?
I have about 6 showing with full negitave caster (mushroom adapter turned) with top ball joint fully wound in and i seem to get a bit of positive
camber (top of wheel leans out) has anybody also found this

Hi tommy, I have the 300lb springs and gas shocks on the front and when the car is sat still the lower wishbones form a straight line with the bottom
of the car, and a think I have a lot more than 6 threads coming out of the bottom of the spring platform, and my castor adjuster rotated about 30
degrees back. Have a look at my ore sva photos and you should be able to see my settings.

I'm in the office, so cant be exact. I set mine so the lower front wishbones were horizontal.
300 or 350Lb springs, and Gaz Shocks (2.1/4" diameter shocks and springs)
In the end you want to set the corner weighting, and do a full suspension setup on all four wheels. Let alone the ride height, spring rates, and
damper settings.
Its a lot to get right to make it handle as good as it can be.

EDIT:
Turning the mushroom will not affect the actual caster angle. Only moving the whole wishbone(s) backward or forwards will affect that.
The caster angle is measured between the swivel pins of the top and bottom joints, and these do not change position when you turn the mushrooms only.
It alters the lean on the hub, but this is not the caster angle.
Turning the mushrooms WILL affect the camber angle (quite a bit), and the toe in / toe out (albeit only marginally).
