Velocity - None Q Plate?

I am going to build a Velocity but what do I have to do to make sure it doesn't end up being a 'Q' plate.

theres been several previous threads on this, try searching for registration etc etc
if i'm right, and probably not, you need to use mainly new bits apart from one recon unit for a new plate

There are 4 scenarios:

q-plate - all different parts sourced from differnet donors.

age-related plate - at least 2 major components come from the same donor, and you need the reg. doc, from the donor.

original donor plate - as for age-related plate, but must also use the donor chassis.

brand new current reg plate - one major part may be second hand & must be re-built to an "as new" standard. All other components must be brand new.

HTH,
Rob.

many thanks rob, but supposing in the fourh scenario I have a pre cat pinto engine completely rebuilt as the one major part does it have to be fitted with a cat.

Mad-butcher,

Good question to which I do not know the answer! I would guess that it would need a cat, but I don't know for sure.

Anyone else?

Rob.
