How much is it worth?
Right serious question.
I May be thinking of selling my Locost.
1.8 zetec with 2 litre cams, bike carbs and megajolt, arp rod bolts and scholar chopped sump. The engine was fully rebuilt before i fitted it..
Done about 300miles, 1st time pass at sva in jan 09 so still 2 year left of no mot.
Its more a live axle velocity than a locost. Same chassis just with live axle rear, Velocity bodywork.
Whats it worth?? Was thinking 5k? Maybe a touch more?

I would have said a tad more - going on the price of the Velocitys that come up in the magazines, probably getting towards the right time of year to
sell too.
Looks like a nice build, hope mine turns out looking that good

well i was going to put it up for 6 originally.
I have an extreme hankering for a hotrod and as i have another child on the way a 4 seater in one of them is more likely.

I would have thought nearer £5750 asking price - as said it's getting warmer (if not drier).

i'd hope for top side of £5.5k
i mean this in the nicest possible, most constructive way, but if you plan to sell in mainstream publications, or on more general websites, i'd
take the side screens off for the photos.

No probs mate. any tips welcome, i was going to remove them for photos anyway theyr not the raciest looking.
