Locost or Velocity

Newbi here.

Due to the availability of kits here in Sweden, I have decided to go with the Luego. The question now remains: Luego Locost or the Velocity ? I have seen that a lot (most) of the posters here has the Velocity, why ? what makes it the better choise ?

I am using an R1 engine.

Thx for the help.

I have asked the same Q to Luego, but I want a second opninion as well.

We ordered a Velocity chassis (because the Sierra bits required for the rear are easier to get hold of than Escort rear axles), but with Locost body work (because we prefered the look of the car with the lower bonnet line and, as my son needs to insure it when he's 17, he needed an insurance-friendly engine and went for the 1100 Kent, which doesn't require the Velocity bodywork to clear it).

I don't know about the R1, but the Pinto and Zetec require the higher bonnet line I believe.......

That is one fine looking car.

Reading the posts it looks to me like the bodywork is interchangeble between the models, is it ? does this apply for other manufacturers as well ?

My idea was actually to start with building the car and the worry about bodywork when that time comes (I haven't got room to store it for maybe a year anyway)

Thanks for the help, all I'm off to visit HalerConcepts tomorrow.
