Luego website is being revamped
Hmm seems that the Luego website has changed. Says something about the company changing hands and being remodelled. Also there is no mention of the
Velocity and it says 'The home of the Viento' at the bottom of the page.

There is mention of the Velocity on the "Prices" section:
quote:
Please note we no longer supply the Luego Velocity as a road legal car.
And a little bellow
quote:
Luego Track Car
Supplied as a kit and based on the Luego Velocity
I wonder what happened to Stuart and Ben Lord, they seemed really nice people.
Best regards,

Ooooh, interesting, does that mean my Velocity is going to become very exclusive ???
Hopefully things will go ok for whoever is going to be running the company from now on, watch this space i suppose..
Give a man a fish & it will feed him for a day, give him a fishing rod & you've saved a fish.

Not in my experience! I hope it goes back to being polite and prompt as the previous owners were.
A concern now is getting hold of Velocity bits if it's going to change.

As a Velocity owner I can't see how it can become a track car as it is too heavy. I also think it is a very good road car so it seems a shame
to jettison it. I see the Viento as a unique car and one that should be developed and built on but the Velocity is a finished product that just needs
a bit of marketing.
It is a shame that the Lord's didn't give Luego a more high profile presence in the market as it was well placed to really take off. I
have had my car for years and don't see any of the competition being better car than the Velocity and still nothing comes close to the Viento.
The brand had really value a few years back and now it has evaporated.

Other than the advertising they do at the Newark show you don't seem to see Luego advertising anywhere. It seems to me that current Luego just
do seem very proactive in their thinking regarding advertising/customer support etc. Look at all the branding, advertising, sponsorship companies
like MEV, Great British Sportcars, Tiger and others do. Luego never seem to do this.
If you were buying a new Kitcar where would find about Luego at the moment.
