Finished it Nov- so got a chance to give at a good blat yesterday- still shaking it down- engine still tight- it hissed down just as I was turning for
home- so I know it works in the wet! A few things to fix- like the tacho which seems to now be all over the place- any ideas?

Can't help with the tacho but give the column switches a squirt of contact cleaner or at least WD40 , they don't like getting wet

Agree with Rusty, water drips down the hazard button and gets into the switches. This then gave me a weird fault and flattened the battery several
times before I tracked it down.
The Tacho problem could be electrical noise, or fluctuating supply voltage, or a poor earth.
Check the earthing to the dashboard is good first.
ie metal to metal contact on the chassis. ie scrape off the paint on any areas of chassis where you are bolting earth terminals / ring tags to.
Dont forget to give them a bit of grease / vasseline / petroleum jelly to stop them rusting up and causing another fault later on.
Faults from poor earthing are difficult to find. Take it from me!!
You do have a good thick earth between the chassis and the engine dont you?
Looks good... next time take the vid cam with you!
Nice wheels.... Pro Race 1.2's?? Good choice
