750mc Locost Race Care #63

Hello,

From the Isle of Wight and bought myself a Locost race car yesterday to race in 750mc series.
Good buddy's with Steve Wells who currently races in the series with his Procomp built race car.

Got a massive list to do but hopefully try get the. Car stripped, cleaned, painted and rebuild before end of January.

Here are a few pictures,




Craig Turners old car and hasn't raced since 2009 so plenty to do and will be updating this thread as go along.

Here is the spec list:
Brian Randall built engine with Kent control cam.
Bestek igniton system.
Procomp rebuilt GT gearbox.
Procomp rebuilt 4:1 dif
Procomp Propshaft ( will require prop restraint as per update regs )
Procomp (protech) Shocks.
Tony Law exhaust system.
FG Tillet seat.
K&N filter.
Omex rev limiter.
Transponder.
Otto lap timer.
2.4 quick rack.
Corner-weighted and setup by Procomp.

Work required:
Completely strip.
Clean up chassis, treat and paint.
Remover transmission tunnel panels and remake.
Fit new side panels.
Install extra chassis bars (to regs)
Install tow straps.
Install quick shift system.
New panels in front of scuttle panel.
New aero screen.
Custom make steering column.
Remake/fit new rear panel.
New fuel tank. (Procomp)
Make/buy new front wishbones.
Remove headlights.
Buy fit new front arches.
Make new arche hanger brackets.
Skim discs.
New green stuff pads.
Make foam seat.
New harness and install.
New steering wheel.
New tyres (shaved)
Service engine.
Fit baffle sump.
Fit ARP rod bolts.
Set up carb.
Buy another set if wheels. Fit tyre.

That's as much I can list from the top of my head.

Want it completed by February the latest ideally so got plenty to do
