Roll bar isn't a requirement for IVA, so as long as it doesn't interfere with anything like handbrake operation, seat belts etc then all
they would be interested in would be sharp edges/projections from it.
Whether it would actually do much to protect you in a shunt would obviously depend on the design, but nio reason a forwrd facing support can't
work as well as rearward facing providing it is anchored correctly
I no longer run Furore Products or Furore Cars Ltd, but would still highly recommend them for Acewell dashes, projector headlights, dominator
headlights, indicators, mirrors etc, best prices in the UK! Take a look at http://www.furoreproducts.co.uk/ or find more parts on Ebay, user names
furoreltd & furoreproducts, discounts available for LCB users.
Don't forget Stainless Steel Braided brake hoses, made to your exact requirements in any of around 16 colours.

I'd agree with Russ but really need to see a picture/drawing to be sure what youintend. Plent of people have rear struts on 7 and still have a
boot in the back though.

I think you'd be surprised how much space is available for a boot with a roll over bar and rear stays. You just need to be smart about how the
lids operates. Its not like you loose any space as all the roll bar is external.
