but i could order the steering rack because it was difficult to get it in the "right steering" edition (i life in europe).
Can anyone here tell me wich one he, she is succesfull mounting on it? and of wich year it is? here all the scrapyards want to know years of the parts
and cars..

Hello
I am also in the part of the world where we drive on the right side of the road
I have used one from a 77 Escort, but any MKI or MKII Escort should fit. (the rear wheel driven ones)

Ford Sierra, does not matter which year. Try and avoid getting one with the adjustable rake (height) steering wheel as these are a pain to fit,
apparrently.(anbody help with a year/model for these?)

Yes I use my trusty Sierra bits for the steering column as well.
It needs to be lengthened about half a meter, but it will fit, although it is a very tight fit with only a couble of millimeters to spare in some
places.
Have fun

I am pretty sure it's an 89. But I have to check the papers when I get home......
But as Rorty wrote the model year doesn't really matter, just don't get one with adjustable height.
