front wing bracket fixing
Hi Guy's,
I started fitting my brackets for the front wings on my luego viento last night. I found when fitting them that the bottom fixing point will not
have enough thread showing through for fitting a nylock nut? Has anyone else had this issue? The bottom fixing is onto the bottom maxi ball joint, can
you get ones with a longer thread? Other than that really happy with how they have bent into shape. Also whats the best way for getting the wing at
the right angles for the IVA? Any help much appreciated as always.
Thanks Mike

More reaming required.
I used a bit of board with the angles on to position the wing.

Agreed - sounds like the upright needs to be reemed (or reemed a bit more) to allow the joint further through to give you more threads to use.

Hi, The hub was reemed out by Ben at Luego not long ago. The bracket for the wing stay is about 4mm which stops the thread coming right through the
nut. There is enough without the bracket.

It has to be reamed out enough to allow bracket thickness, washer, nut and two or three threads visible above the the nut.
