zetec install
hi
anyone had problems with engine breathing on a zetec i have put a crankcase breather on but it spits oil out when the revs are hi. Do i need to put a
baffle in the cam cover? my oil pressure is a bit hi but i dont think thats the problem
anyone got any ideas?

You may find its something to do with the sump and oil pickup etc.
Many of the Zetec installations fail to correct the sump baffling for the longditudinal fitment of the engine relying on the transverse layouts
baffling etc..
Think about fitting Raceline sump and wingage tray system. Or perhaps your engine is tired and breathing hard, rings shot? Try a compression test.

carried out compression test looks ok. oil pressure over 90 psi!
anyone got any ideas.

Pressure Release Valve not stuck is it...
1. The point of a journey is not to arrive.

I have spoken to people about pressure relief valve, does anyone know if it is easy to get to and how to release it?

high oil pressure
just started the engine and also have high oil pressure on idle 90psi and up to 115psi running is this normal for zetecs?????
