Velocity various
A few pointers please.
1) What heaters have people fitted to Velocity's
2) Any hints on fitting the nose cone, bonnet and scuttle. I'm just about to start the job (pannels have just been layed in place) and it
doesn't look like it's going to be easy to get a good fit?
3) Can anyone recommend a cheap source of Lucas wheelboxes for use on with a mini wiper motor?
Obviously pictures are worth a 1000 words....well sometimes anyway.

Dry fit panels first, nose cone must be first as your bonnet then dictates your scuttle position, carry out any fettleing first though. The sequence
in the Velocity build manual is a good sequence

That's what I;d planned on doing. Did you get an even gap each side of the nose cone where it meets the front of the chassis? Also, did you
have to do much fettling.

Nose cone was a good fit, i lined where it meets the chassis with closed cell neoprene foam for protection and for anti-rattle/vibration. Bonnet took
a bit of work and to be honest is probably the worst fitting body panel on the velocity, scuttle no problems, rear panel lots of fettling

fettling of bodywork is not exclusive to Luego's. I think this is common for all of the kits. best bit of advice i was given, think twice,
measure 3 times, cut once. Its old advice but very valid. I dont think any of them end up street rod perfect. On mine the scuttle is fitted to defined
position. Nosecone fitted squarely then bonnet trimmed to fit - a job im not looking forward to although some small u trim after can hide some sins.
Rear panel was a sod, i aligned one side first then the other side. Once happy with dry fit secured with some rivets (clecos would have been handy).
After this was ok removed, bonded and refitted rivets.
I bought a Rotozip off ebay new for £35. Best tool i have found for fibreglass. Takes a bit of practise freehand but quite easy to use.
