Luego quality

Hi all!

Saw the Luego Winter IRS kit announcement, and it seems quite OK (althought lots of bit could be added).

Does anyone actually saw their kits? How about their quality compared with others like ST or MK?

Many thanks in advance,
Joao Caldeira

Joao,

Have a look at postings under Chassis

"Best Chassis for a Newbie"

Seems to be a big topic :-)

Looked at Luegos products at Donnington, and they look ok.
ST's bodywork is shit, but i have no problem with the rest of their stuff.
A lot of people have gone with MK, and they have a good reputation generally.
Also check out Triton for bodywork as it is apparently v.good.

hope this helps

Al

Shame the pics section isn't working coz I could post some on there!! Already emailed two sets. Next best thing is to have a look at Luego's website. Lots of pics of components and finished cars on there.

No complaints from me though, and as also mentioned there is quite a large discussion about this under the 'Chassis' section.

Flew down from Scotland to view their works and kits. Got duff info from them on their location and drove 250 mile round trip from Gatwick to get there and only had about 40 mins on site !
Their chassis looks good, workshop not so good, part built car they showed me not good, competed car they showed me (customers vehicle) was a V5 ringer !.
V8 car they had looked pretty good.
Was really hacked off with my visit to Luago.
Since then (last week) bought a rolling chassis locost (new built) for less than their kit price and looking for engine package at present.

X-Flow Engine

Hi Fifer, I will be in touch if I hear of any thing. We do have some old units that will need a total re-build, if you are interested. Regards Grant.
