Rear Camber Adjustment
Is it just me or is the rear camber adjustment on the Viento a bit of a headache.
I have to basicaly remove the wheel, entire top wishbone, and shocker bottom mounting to make an adjustment, and then of course replace and roll the
car to settle the sutup and find out if its right.
Whats the point of the locknut, it sees redundant as the threaded tube wont allow any movement as long as the top wishbone is in place.
Also with the locknut in the hub side of the of the thred there is amost insufficient adjustment to allow 1 degree of -camber.
Why thread the tube, couldnt it just have been a neat fit and then locknuts could provided the final locking system.
Aaagh
Ok, rant over ,
But just spent a couple of hours, done both rear wheel twice and i'm still not happy with it. The front is simple and easy.

point of the lock nut is to stop the threaded rod fretting in the the threaded sleeve, thereby saving premature failure of the components.
Beware of the Goldfish in the tulip mines. The ONLY defence against them is smoking peanut butter sandwiches.
