Luego Panels
Hi!,
With the sad news of Luego I have a far from finished Velocity XT. Anyone know if the panels from other manufacturers fit the chassis. I also
need to get mud gaurd brackets and a light bracket. Looks like a bit of shopping around required.
Good luck to Grant and all the guys...

Mudguard brackets from MK engineering, they are the same type / style as Luego, also they do some decent mudguards that look much easier to fit.
Give grant an ring or Email him, he may be able to tell you where he got them made (Metal Side panels).
Light brackets are easy to knock up. You could even use Oval Tube!!.

The velocity has all the same dimensions as a locost AFAIK, the only thing you'll need to worry about is wider rear arches for the sierra track.

I thought the bonnet was deeper to accommodate the pinto? So wouldn’t you need a different nose cone and scuttle???
In need of a scuttle so if anyone knows the answer please tell!

Yeah, quite right - if he has a bonnet already, If you not he can do as I did and use Locost nose/bonnet/scuttle instead. If you need a velocity
scuttle I'm pretty sure Luego was the only place to get one.
Having said that, I'd be surprised if this is the last we see of the Velocity bodywork, it'll be back under one guise or another.
