Velocity petrol tank - best place to buy one from
I need to buy a petrol tank and am a little concerned about spending £150 for one with Luego. I know that they are special size for the Velocity. Has
anybody found a better option?

I got a cheep MK one from e-bay and then shortened it to fit in the back of my velocity. There are a few ali tank people on e-bay, most will make
custom tanks if you ask nicely!

I tried a plastic one from car builder solutions only to find that it wouldn't go past my rollbar stays. Plus i was later told that they split
with age??
Eventually bought a Luego one with baffles and a collector pot at the bottom to stop surge and an extra return for the fuel injection. To be honest it
was top quality and I should have gone for it first as last because I had to pay for the return of the plastic one to CBS plus a surcharge.
Hope this helps, I wouldn't go for a compromise with the fuel system.
Rich.
