First Drive!!!!!

Yesterday i connected up the hand brake cable and took my kit car for its first drive. Im building the car at my parents garage and their road is a cul-de-sac, so its nice and quite - and in a nice area of town, so no drive by police!

anyway, i took the car for its first drive and up and down the road - slow at first to make sure nothing broke, and im glad to say, that it was all good.

after that i gave it a bit of a spanking, spinnig the wheels up as easy as immigrant entering britain.

wow she is fast and feels solid - other than the escort clock pod im using at the moment sliding around - no rattles or bangs!!!

cant wait to get further on now - need to organise a dash board....

i took a vid, but not gotten around to upload it yet...

and i was pleased with the bigger brakes on the front too. the 300mm discs really scrub off the speed without instant lockup - infact having driven the same kitcar ( my friends ) with 260mm and mine with 300, i much prefer mine. more control.

Well done young man, looks like you are sort of ahead of me by a little bit.
