viento sva pass today

1st time pass for another viento today!
The only thing that needed an on the spot fix was to put nut covers on the starter solenoid terminals.
All thats left now is the dvla bit, ive had a home inspection already so it should be easy and quick (i hope).
When i registered my robin hood they insisted on me going away and getting an mot.
A very happy day!!

Will you be going to stoneleigh ?

Paul

edit - just looked at your location - may be a bit of a long drive.

Edit - may have to upgrade to a larger engine soon as every one else seems to have a bigger one

Some of us do just fine thank you - If I'm honest I don't think I could afford the petrol if I went bigger.

Nice one Kenton - Hope you're plated and out for a blat soon.

Its to stop the main battery lead shorting out to anything flapping about in the engine bay.
Simple Safety device. Its on all cars.
Live unfused terminals are a fire hazard.

Well done on another Viento completed.
Looking forward to seeing it at a show.

You always put a condom on a "Live End" dont you

Often not thought about, and its an easy for a fire to start if its not insulated, and especially in an accident.

Make sure all Live terminals are not bare or exposed. As you righly say, a lot of people dont give it a thought.
Car electrics is considered as a black art by many, and people tend to overlook small things.
After all you cant actually see those Volts and Amps lurking up the cable
