Peterborough Show 08
Well everyone, it was a pleasure to see you all there. The weather was a bit indifferent to wet and windy with the emphasis on WINDY, but not as windy
as Newark, there were very few tumbling gazebo's this time. However our smaller one did get taken down during the course of Saturday night. I
must admit though that it was a shame that we could not have had more attending and staying over on the Friday & Saturday Nights, but then it is
sort of peak holiday time.
I must apologise for not getting my car there, but that was probably my fault for, a) not checking the tow bar electrics earlier (never trust others
wiring), and, b) promising or stating categorically in an earlier post that it 'WOULD' be there.
Any way once again thank you all for turning up and making it a good show and I look forward to seeing all of you plus a few more at the Stafford
show.

Well glad I made it even though just for a few hours today.
I just got back from Cornwall yesterday, so a weekend visit was never on the cards.
A windy drive home as well.
It was lovely to see you all, and have a chat.
1. The point of a journey is not to arrive.
2. Never take life seriously. Nobody gets out alive anyway.
Best Regards

Had a really good time as always. The food was excellent Clive.
Very wind journey home + A52 closed so had to detour up via Newark.
It would be really good to get a bigger turn out on Friday and Saturday Camping as most people miss out on your BBQ and the beer. We could even
organise a convoy out on Saturday eve to a local pub for a quick drink.

Ps as always we had a lot more cars displaying than the Stands either side of us. So thanks to everyone who turned up.

There's always Stafford show 13/14th September. (Communications are in hand for booking it.) I might have to make it a bit special as it 2 days
after the wifes Birthday.
