Velocity Scuttle, Bonnet & Nosecone

In the latest Kit-Car mag, the Velocity pictured appears to have grp bodywork which sits noticeably higher than other makes. Presumably this is to allow for taller Pinto engines.
Is this correct, or am I deceived by photo distortion??

Work-in-Progress: Changed to Zetec + T9. Still trying!!

Luego should confirm these dims, but it is my understanding that the velocity nosecone is 255mm above the top chassis rail and the scuttle is 280mm (The chassis is book size) The bonnet also has a small scoop at the front, which I believe also helps enclose tall engines

I can confirm it as thats what ive used, its something like 2 or 4" taller than standard and the viento is taller and wider. It nicely fits my 2.0l under without mods and is super quality. Look in my photos for a piccy. Plus, just got a letter from them this morning sayng order now and collect at stoneleigh, and youll get 10% off, nice of em

Bought Luego bodywork mainly for that reason, the front end is 2" higher so I can fit my Vauxhall injection under it without screwing up my road clearence.

to be honist I like the luego body line, gives the car a sturdy look about it. The colours it's avaliable in are very very varied (colour chart coved something like 300 colours), mines a very deep purple that shows black if not in direct sun light, but deep purple if it is.
