Bugger... More Expense!
Charged the Viento battery overnight (Its even been on the Optimate several times since last September and over the winter).
Tried to start the engine this morning, and it sounded like a pig rolling in mud! Ugg Uhhr Uhhr Ugg Click Clickety Click
(Hmmm... Not sure Pigs go Click)
Oh well the battery has lasted 4 years. Time for a new one, and a £54 hole in my pocket!
Taxed it as well at £205
Still it will be ready for the first fine day that comes around.
1. The point of a journey is not to arrive.
2. Never take life seriously. Nobody gets out alive anyway.
Best Regards

It might properly be knackered, but try to charge it up several times (and then discharge it by cranking the engine) before chucking it away.
I've revived some completely dead batteries with success. And these were at 0.0v for ages.

I've had 3 scrapyard batteries, all bought with 6 months guarantee, £15 each, all still going strong.
The mental gymnastics a landlord will employ to justify immoral actions is clinically fascinating. Just because something is legal doesn't make
it moral.
