Engine mounts for pinto in velocity?
I have jsu put my engine in and used a pair of world cup engine mounts. I have then put the nose cone back on and it doesn't quite sit down
properly.
What engine mounts have others used are there any ones that are shorter? Only take 5mm or so

Try Luego ones, they should be the correct length to get your engine under the bonnet and nose cone.I don,t know what your engine mounts look like but
you could elongate the holes for the block mounts if you only need 5 mil.Or if you are using the round cortina type rubbers you could cross drill
them, this would make them collapse more and lower your engine a few mil but be carefull as too much will allow more latteral movement.
All advice with the usual disclaimer

Ive used Luego mounts as well but my engine sits 20 mill too high using a book nose cone so we cut the top plates off and rewelded them lower but im
sure you shouldn,t need to go that far.
Isn,t the Velocity XT nose already higher than standard?
Give Grant a ring he might have an easy solution, your body work is designed around the Pinto so it should all fit with only minor adjustments.

Yeah the Velocity Xt nose cone is designed to fit a pinto under it. Hence the question. Seems strange why mine don't fit quite
