Hi - introduction and a question
Hi Everyone
I live in South-Africa and I am building a VelocityXT with Locost bodywork. I will be using a silvertop Toyota 4AGE 20V engine. Some pictures can be
found on www.locost.co.za under Build diaries and on the forum there are some of my ramblings.
My question is this: I have used the adapter plates to convert my rear drum brakes to disks. I had the caliper carriers machined to remove 6mm(the
width of the adapter plates) from the mounting lugs, but found this weekend that the caliper mounting plates now rubs against the disks. How much
should I have had machined off from this lugs, 7.5mm? Has anyone done this before? How much did you have to remove?
Any help would we welcome.
Thanx everyone.
Andre'

Welcome to the site! I'm afraid I can't help with your question but I'm somebody can, good luck with the rest of the build.
Cheers,
Pete
