Wilwood rear brake caillpers

Hi,

Has anyone installed the wilwood rear bake conversion with handbrake to a velocity?

I am having some trouble getting mine to work as the calliper fouls the upright. When the axle is in place there is a gap between the axle mounting flange and upright that can be taken by compressing the axle. Should the axle be left in its natural extension and spacers used to take up this gap or should the axle be compressed so the flange bolts directly onto the upright?

If I did use spacers between the upright and mounting flange I should be able to get the calliper in without fouling on the upright.

Your advice would be appreciated!

Thanks in advance!
