Now that the days are getting shorter Monocoque
Sauntering through ebay and found this. What are the drawbacks at having a go at this ?
The advantages would I imagine be stiffer chassis, and quite unique. If its Robin Hood I would imagine its very similair componentry to finish.

It,s definately a robin hood lightwieght.there used to be a picture on the robin hood web site showing the writing on the chassis which is the top
one.
The last owners were going to start making the first chassis in steel a believe ,then the new owners took over and delayed the launch and started
making them from aluminium.
It is still an unproven chassis and the jury is still out if it is any good, probably better spending extra money and buying a well proven chassis from
mk or mac#1 etc etc

Interseting that the auction is for a " one off lightweight monocoque chassis kit car chassis" but there are two for sale!

i doubt whether that would be as rigid as a space frame chassie. However, the weight saved would probabley make a huge difference to performance.
Only 16 and i have already had my midlife crisis

Watch out there is another bit on this site linking to a RHOC where there is a guy who has been denied SVA on a lightweight at Soton because of
chassis design

Strange that SVA refusal.
There is one on the road that has passed the test no problems
