Wheels and Brakes
Hi
Just wanted to see what wheels and brakes people are using?
I have a velocity XT and was looking to run a duratec engine and 13" wheels. Looking for rear brakes is proving difficult, fronts should be ok.
I have the ford disc set up from the sierra front and rear.
Just wondered if you can offer any advice?, what set up are you running? Do you think 15" wheels would be better in the long run?
Cheers for any advice.
Stu

If you prefer a smaller wheel and dn't want the hassle of trying to fit 13's then why not go for 14's?

Id go for 15" wheels, as you have a MUCH bigger choice of decent tyres over 14"

I've got 13x6 Superlights on front and rear [running A539's with 185/60/13 all round] - front brakes are Sierra vented and just fit
[can't remember the disc size off the top of my head]. Rear are 9" drums - the car stops and handles well - engine is a Toyota 1.6 4AGE
16V....
Just a bag o' rusty spanners

Im so glad your not using square wheels might restrict your choice of tyres somewhat
