It's hard to choose only ten. In no particular order :

Deep Purple – Machine Head
UFO – Obsession
AC/DC – Back in Black
Uriah Heep – Abominog
Iron Maiden - Killers
Black Sabbath – Heaven & Hell
Whitesnake –Live in the Heart of the City
Motorhead – No Sleep ‘til Hammersmith
Rainbow – Long Live Rock ‘n’ Roll
Ozzy – Blizzard of Oz

(Sorry if they're a bit Old Skool - so am I )

I liked...

Steve Vai - Alien Love Secrets
The Jelly Jam
Eric Johnson - Ah Via Musicom

edit: Eric Johnson may not be the Rock/Metal category, but still kick butt guitarist

If it's rock/metal, I'll listen to it*, Pretty sure all the true classics have been listed already

At the moment I have a soft spot for Korpiklaani - Spirit of the forest. it's a little, different, but I enjoy it.

*Apart from Metallica, Lars is a prick (sorry, whenever metal is mentioned someone has to moan about Metallica, it's the law)

Avril Lavigne - The best damn thing
Busted - a present for everyone

PM5K- Tonight the stars revolt
Spineshank - The Height of Callousness
Korn - First Album. First song. All went downhill after that!
Pennywise - land of the free (more punk)
SOAD - Chop Suey
and dare I say limpbizkit - 3 dollar bill

Been listening to this one a lot recently:

Quite applicable to the current climate
