If it's a public road why do you need trackday insurance?

Because It is classed as a derestricted toll road and most insurers will not insure you on them.

I have a german 3rd party insurance policy on my car and ADAC cover, means im covererd on the ring if i take anyone off and I can get my car home, the rest (car repairs and track damage) is down to me.

would you even be counted as liable in this instance where it was an unforseeable incident? Fair enough if your cargo falls off its your fault, or if you forget your fuel cap and put diesel everywhere, but an engine failure is unavoidable?

Beware! Bourettes is binfectious.
