That's coming along nicely mate.I don't suppose you've got any pics of the sump internals/baffles do you??
I'm STILL getting oil surge and I REALLY don't want to shell out the £ 300 for an sbd jobby.
If it looks wrong it probably is wrong.

Sorry mate I never took any.
SBD want big bucks but QED want far less and thats the option ill be going for before xmas.

Its £152 but leave £220 spare including pil pick up and gaskets, VAT etc etc

Nice find that QED one mate. it all adds up money wise.
I don't know if you know or not BUT the rubber 8v gasket IMHO is the one to go for and is much less fiddly to fit as well compared to the cork
ones
If it looks wrong it probably is wrong.

Thanks mate, I cant remember what gasket came in the kit but it was SBD supplied.

The rubber one has like a slot in it and it clips over the edge of the windage tray. that keeps it all inline/place. Much easier IMHO
If it looks wrong it probably is wrong.

Mt mate was putting the sump on whilst i was doing the seats and bits so i'll check, either way its on now so wont need to be changed again
until the new sump arrives

not been to Taners in a few weeks been away and busy etc.. Was there all day today though
Here are the latest pics... Taner is a top man :thumb: big credit to him
Its all done starts, drives done 20 miles in it so far but there a small oil leak I need to sort as it was getting dark this evening. here how it is
now:
