Hope its not a Std Viento Chassis. The LV350 is more suitable for that sort of engine
nice looking engine though:d

engine and box, with only 391 miles on the clock, yes 391!!!!! so basiclly new, with all the wiring and ecu shipped to the uk and all duty paid about
£6800, not bad for 500hp and 525Ibft with a gearbox that can take the power.

it will be running a mustang 8.8 diff casing, not sure on diff type (locker, slipper or atb) yet as there is so many to choose from with the 8.8,
hoping to run 2.73:1 gearing as its so light and powerfull giving me 61mph in first gear, and 93 in 2nd

That's great, when it is done you could pack it off to Top Gear and let the Stig do his thing with it!
Good luck to you.

svs in the states do a twin turbo setup for the un modified engine and boost it to 8psi, that gives the engine 850hp at the WHEELS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i do want the stig to have a play on a dry track, what i really want is to beat the supercharged arial atoms time round the track.
the plan is to build this car get it noticed and sell it, then if the reaction was good enough, will build an even more powerful one for next year,
the 2008 viper is going to be running 600hp, and it would be rude not to fit one of them in the next viento!!!!!!
i have been researching the new ford v8, modular engine, and ultimately i will be fitting a 1000hp+ engine in something, maybe that would have to be a
cobra replica, at least thats got a bit of weight to hold it on the ground, but who knows, if the viento proves its capable of handling the power it
could be fitted in at a later date.

Thought i had better come say hello as i will be helping to build the Viento with John.
I got roped in as i have had a hand in building a few kits before but nothing like this lol.
Project has been 2 years in the planning and is, as you all know, about to become real I for 1 can't wait .
Im basicly going to be in sole charge of getting the engine running as i have devolped a bit of a wiring skill lol.
Be good to meet some more of you at the show when, if all goes according to plan, we should have the engine box and diff mounted in a rolling
chassis.
Its all dependant on if the engine arrives from the USA in time, diff casing will defo arrive in time.
We will keep you all posted as to how were getting on with it over the comming months esp when i get the engine running i'm sure ill post a
video of that lol.

No problem Keith no leave it alone pmsl.
Seriously mate any other problems with getting that engine running give John a call and we will come down and sort it out for you.
Just as a note before you run your engine did you have your plenium powder coated?
If you did make sure its been cleaned out properly i know a guy who has killed his engine before he even managed to get it to start by not getting all
the crap out that was left by the sand blasting took 3 weeks to work out why the engine that was running properly was now low compression!! and John
and i popped in to see him on the way back from meeting Dean at Luego as he thought it was a wiring problem obviously not!!

Powder coating
Hello mate
Thanks for thinking it had been powder coated but it was all my own work with paint stripper, a scraper, lots of elbow grease and tins of lovely
silver. I masked up all areas before painting and w2ill have to go through the process again as I have chipped and scratched it with the engine
hoist.
Any joy with a fuel pump?
All the local breakers have is internal and no one at Detling sold them and especially exhaust manufacturers, where are they?
I have had to unpick the wiring for the altenator as I have managed to fit it at the bottom on the n/s but may have an issue with the bottom hose. Not
sure yet as I haven't made the adjuster bracket yet.
Anyway good to have you both around as I am confident you will always be available for advice and that it's greatly appreciated
Have a good one with the V10, gives a shout as to when I can see it as I am not going to the grand sheet removal as we are at Legoland.
Good luck
Kieth
