First drive with turbo!!

well just had my first drive with me turbo technics kit, Furrrr kin ell!
its awsome, I havent done any engine mods yet so its a totally standard 2.8 v6 sierra engine with full compression running 0.5 bar boost-what a difference it just runs through the gears in no time im well chuffed with it.
Now i need to rebuild my spare engine and lower the CR, bigger valve heads and with gas flowing and a bit more boost and i will easily have 250hp and about 280ft/lbs of torque.

sounds ace!

Would you have to strengthen the drive train to cope with that sort of BHP and Torque?

yea i was kinda thinking that aswell! but the TT conversion kits were all standard running gear on the capri's/ sierra with the 230hp kit although they uprate the brakes on the 230 ones.
Will speak to Alan Jeffries about this as he used to runs his xr4's with 250+ amount of horsepower and our cars are a lot lighter than normal cars so less strain anyway i would think!!
cheers
