Hayabusa turbo engine
I bought a hayabusa turbo engine, brand new build a few weeks ago having discussed it with Jack at Holeshot engineering who built it. It was the full
monty one on Pistonheads and Ebay.
I think it is classed as a stage four on his (holeshot) site but can be upgraded with minor changes due to the spec of the parts used, you'd
have to ask him.
When Jack found out how much I paid, he immediately offered to buy it off me for the same price, so I won't be out of pocket, but if anyone here
has a use for a £10K engine for £5.5K let me know before I ship it to Ireland or change my mind yet again and decide to use it.
Cheers
Ed

But I wouldn't have a clue what to do if anything went wrong!
And beyond about 180 bhp you couldn't get the power down?
But yeah, maybe I'll keep it!

And beyond about 180 bhp you couldn't get the power down? The other 179 you do!
But yeah, maybe I'll keep it!
Sound like a plan!

You lot are the people my parents warned me against aren't you?
The words 'influence' and 'bad' spring to mind!
I am wavering, stop it.

Run it, scare yoursef and others silly, then flog it a year or so down the line. With the money you make buy a standard Busa to drop in place and
pocket the rest. You will be left with a very fast car and have that feeling that you know what 1000bhp/ton feels like!

I'm with Steve on this on sounds one hell of an engine!
One bit of advice though spend some of the money you've saved on a life insurance policy that is going to be stupidly fast

I must be missing something here - why did you buy it in the first place if you don't want to fit it?
There's a guy running a hayabusa turbo in the Scottish Sprint & Hillclimb championships - what a thing to go! Very impressive.
Stick it in your car and enjoy the same feeling. I would love to have an engine like that. In fact run it til the end of the year and then we can come
to some sort of arrangment for your engine and my K8 busa engine...
