This year is over..
This year is over.. will return for Stoneleigh 2010.
For various reasons I have declared the Viento SORN .
Hope to be back on the road for Stoneleigh next year.

Decided to ge fuel injection at last.
two years running a carb, now planning...
Megasuirt
Thor manifold
changing the single throttle body for twin throttle bodies
this involves upgrading the fuel pump and changing fuel lines from rubber to copper tube + a fuel retun line.
Then making a new bonnet (after last years little mishap.)
Then new brake pads ( willwood samrt pads are C**p)
Then loosing some weight from car ( and Me!)
+ some cosmetic paint.
Then a custum made areoscreen.

I have pushed my luck abit driving the car recently and the westfield crash helped me make the decision to take a break from driving and to go back to
building for a while.

also going to make some more progress on the Terrapin single seater - started the chassis and building a 998cc mini engine.
so lots to do.

all sounds pretty damn good to me.
The westfield incident certainly makes one reflect.

It certainly does, but lets not forget why we choose not to tin top once in a while.
And Stafford should be bigger and better this year.

Sorry Paul, but I'm afraid you can't just cancel the rest of the year simply because you have declared the viento SORN. There are still
many months left.
