Weight
Hi guys Had my VELOCITY weighed today and it was 670kg with all fluids full, Is this a good weight ???????? Also is there any mathmatician's out
there to work out my BHP per Ton I have got 209BHP @ flywheel.

Hang on, a tonne is 907kg
its 209 / (670/907)
which is 283Bhp/tonne so it looks like my maths if rougher

Lots of calculators available on-line just google bhp/ton and take your pick.
BTW my F27 with the Volumex engine weighed in at 650kgs but that's with al. head, gearbox etc.

having just finished welding my chassis ..... until i find something else to weld onto I can tell you a ron champion chassis, converted to de-dion
weights an absolute blooming ton / tonne when you keep manually turning it over onto its sides.

A ton (in real English units) is 2240lbs or 1016Kg so the BHP/ton = 316.9

Try doing it with a chassis designed to hold a jag engine 
ETA - Id also like to know what mods you have done. My motor has 225 standard and thats a 3.6

No it isn't! Not in the UK anyway...
UK (long) ton = 2280 lb = 1022kg
USA (short) ton = 2000 lb = 907kg
So the UK ton is almost exactly the same as the metric tonne.
Maybe the short ton was devised because the yanks can't do hard sums? Trouble is, it's starting to be used over here... 
Thank God for metric, is all I can say...
