Physical memory dump
I know there are a lot of clever computer people on here so here goes....
recently had to install Vista on my laptop (despite paying £60 to Dell for XP) after a virus... now when using Google Earth I often get the blue
screen of death and the physical memory dump message... reminds me of windows ME! Never happened with XP on the same machine.
Any ideas or anyone have a legit copy of XP cheap???

What about downloading the Windows 7 RC that you can use for free until May '10.
I've been running it for a long time and it's excellent. Flys in comparison to Shitsta!

Don't suppose you happend to take note of the stop code... Goes something like:
STOP 0X000000XX
where XX is the bit we're interested in. You might be able to get this from the event log. Start, run, type eventvwr and click ok.
It will be in the system log.
If that's too technical or you just can't be arsed I'd advise upgrading your video drivers as this sounds to be the most likely
cause given it only does it when you use google maps and this is an openGL or D3d app (can't remember). Anyway, upgrade video drivers first
port of call.
I didn't see you sat in traffic on Lincoln bypass today did I? I passed someone in a yellow 7, they were getting wet

Where the hell is 'run' or 'search' within the start menu of this Vista shite??? Ahhhh

If you have a valid XP product key all you need is any full install disc for the same version of XP just use your product code to validate
the install.
It won't work from system recovery CD created by a manufacturers utillty made after a pre- install.

According to this page "Sorry, the Windows 7 RC is no longer available
for download. If you’ve got the download and need a product key, they’ll be available until October 21, 2009."
