Zetec 1.25 Info?
Anyone know the bellhousing pattern on the little 1.25 zetec?
Will a type 9 bolt up to this engine?

Cracking little engine... I run one in my Mojo - see my website for more info : Link
The 1.25 puts out 70-75bhp which is not huge, but it revs really easily and is nice and light so performance can still be quite rewarding!
Here's a dyno report for the 1.25 : link

I'm running the standard Ford EEC-V ECU at the moment, but I've just bought a 1600 SE lump and now I'm wondering about an ECU
upgrade. Omex, Emerald, Megasquirt - hmmm....
I've started off with the 1.25 because it was in my donor car so I reused as much as possible to keep costs down and get me on the road as soon
as possible. Now I'm a bit more used to rear wheel drive I've decided that a bit more power wouldn't go amiss. Also, this engine
has done just over 100K miles and I'm not sure how much longer it'll last when I start doing some trackdays. They're pretty
bulletproof really and it runs as smooth as a nut but I need a winter project!

Not using any Ford bellhousing, but aftermarket bellhousings are available to mate Type 9s to the Zetec SE engines.
