Newbi (therefore advice required!)
I am very close to taking the plunge and odering myself Velocity Kit but I would like some advice.
I know this is a how long is a peice of string type question but how much will it cost from start of build to it being finished? I imagine there are
plenty of hidden costs that I won't realise exist.
Also any other tips/advice would be greatly appreciated!

That Steve, is one of the great imponderables and is you do a search on budgets or similar you will find a LOT of threads on the subject. It all boils
down to (a) how much you can make & recondition yourself (b) how good you are at getting bits fer next to nowt and (c) how much you are prepared
to spend. If yo ujust want a budget car powered by a bog standard Sierra engine, with steel wheels & a basic interior you should be able to
do something for as little as £2000. Most folks (I think) are looking at between £3500 and £5000. If you went the whole package route buying every
component from Luego I think its about £8000? All depends what you want at the end of it.

Costs
The recent poll (at this time) seems to indicate most builders estimate £6K+, but obviously it depends on:
1. How innovative you are
2. How resourceful you are
3. What you want at the end of it
Good luck!

Hi.
Just done the sum of (almost) everything, considering all Luego packeges. LHD [+50] BEC [+300] build. It's nearly 7650 + donnor + wheels &
tires.
I think Luego is a bit expensive than compared to others (ST, MK) but [hopefully] quality and support are a plus.
