Silly Question
Does anyone know if the cranks out of different crossflow blocks are interchangeable? I have a 711 block with a knackered crank and have been
offered a good crank out of a 681 block. Will this fit the 711?

I thought the bearing tunnels were thinner on the 681, a phone call to Burton performance will put you right.
Why not grind the crank 0.25 undersize?

Its not the mains or the big ends that are the problem, its the thrust bearing surface and I am told by several good authorities thats its U/S...
