take a look at my poll on Anything Else section. If you look at the actual build costs compared to the expected costs, there is (I beleive) a pretty
clear picture !
I reckon, you will do very well to build any sort of 7 car for less than 4k pounds.
Just my opinion though (mine cost nearer 6k)

thanks for that, im very pleased with it but ive tried not to build it to a strict budget. i had brought a pinto and fitted it in her first, but i saw
a w***f***d with this motor in it and thought THATS IT i want that engine. i payed about £500 for the engine, then new carbs were £400, then manifold
was £100. i then had the ally sump modified with a gull wing for it £40. i then used standard exhaust manifold and hacked and slasshed it about. it
was more time getting it to run messing about in breakers yards for the right dizzy and leads etc. oh and i lightened the fly wheel while i was at
it.phew making me sweat thinking about it.......but hey.....its all worth it m8.cheers

Billy,
Got any tips on the leads I need?! I've found a dizzy and have some of the little ignitino modules, but don't have the wiring for
inbetween. If you see/have any spare bits I'll happily have them off you..
Ned.
beware, I've got yellow skin

Billy, check your front indicator height.
They look too low to pass SVA. Get the tape out mate.
yours, Pete
I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.

Put some more air in the front tyres. If I remember, it's to the bottom of the illuminated area as well.
