What thickness aluminium sheet for sides of kit?
struggling with finding cheap aluminium near me as im in scunthorpe. what thickness sheet can i use to keep the weight down but keep strength.
HELP! please

0.7mm I'd not use it though (dent's to esearly).. 1mm maybe (many use 1.2)?

I got some 1.2 from asc metals in lincoln, might be worth looking at if theres nowhere closer

im using 2mm on mine!!!
just because you are a character, doesnt mean you have character....
for all your bespoke parts, ali welding, waterjet, laser, folding, turning, milling, composite work, spraying, anodising and cad drawing....

Have you tried Kass steel in scunny? Im sure they sell aluminium. Worth giving ASD in Grimsby a call too
