LCB airfield day.

Hello!

right ive changed this post to make it a bit clearer whats going on.

Myself and eddie99 are goin to be organising an airfield day at north weald. situated at junction 7 of the m11, so just north of london, near harlow

£38 per car - 9th july - North weild airfield

this will be for Locost builders members so all kits, unless we need people to fill spaces etc.

the price will be £38.00 per car (passengers/additional drivers welcome) whilst this may change a little it should only go down unless we dont have enough people sign up. your car doesnt need to have an mot and can be pre iva, but the car should be suitable for using on a track day and you are fully responsible for your own car. there is plenty of space for trailers if your bringing the car for a shakedown test then there is loads of space to have a tinker etc.

if you are interested email myself at

ant.collier@gmail.com

just to let me know and ill keep everyone up to date with whats going on, this isnt a commitment to pay or anythin like that.

the date is the 9th of july. payment will probably be 1 month before. im not doin this to make any money and dont intend to, i just want a cheap track day with some good people!

cool, well i did it a few weeks ago, we could pretty much do what we want, but the usual format is

1st - high speed bend

link

2nd - then they set up 2 circuits, about a minute long each. these are on differant parts of the airfield and you just go to whatever one you want, then go back and que up, so there would be 10 cars on each circuit i guess.

3rd lunch, 1 hour break for lunch at local pub, v.nice food.

then more time on the circuits,

then we did the full sprint circuit, which was over 2 minuts long (just to give an idea)

theyre all timed aswell!

but i had a really good day and v.cheap. £10 for lunch and a tank of fuel,

there is an area where you meet at the start of the day where you can leave tools, road wheels, also toilets and a snack van.

there is only one car on the short circuits at a time, loads of run off and nothing to hit. bit bumpy etc.

one other problem may be paypal fees if we are sendin money all over the place.

Also, if you are playing with paypal, send it as 'personal transfer' and you don't get hit with fees.

OK,

trailers are fine no problem, loads of space etc.

cars without mots/pre iva etc, you are more than welcome to bring them but as with all cars, they are not covered by anyone other than the owner. they have lots of people taking cars along for shakedown tests, tinkering with cars is not a problem,

i think im going to book friday the 9th,

ill start a list! at them moment im going to asume the cost will be £38 - if we can get 25 cars -

list meens nothing other than you a seriously interested.
