LED Side Repeaters

Will i need a special indicator relay to run the two LED repeater lights sold on the bay.

I bought some of the same and they don't work with my current relay, think they need a diode or resisitor or something. I told kitpartsdirect but they didn't seem to understand

Ive also got a pair of them and they work fine with the standard hot wire relay...

They flash too fast with my std sierra relay, I'm gonna get the ebay one for £14 odd which does a range of wattages so you can mix n match all your lamps and it won't blow up

The rest of mine are standard bulbs so there is very little wattage differance.

yeah me too, 21w on f + R, I guess if I timed it they would be inside the iva limits it just looks a little odd, to me anyway!

Least of my problems though, the completely unfinished car being my main problem!

LED repeaters won't make any difference to the flashing rate because they are only replacing a very small wattage bulb. Whatever you do, do not go putting resistors in parallel with anything - they are a fire risk!
If you want to run LED indicators just get an electronic flasher unit to do the job properly - you can usually run up to one conventional bulb with them too.
