IVA Test Application

I have just down loaded and printed the application form for the IVA test.

Does anyone know what the weights are for a Locost built to the original book (Mk2 Escort donor)

How much documents/pictures did people send for supporting evidence.

What are the new limitations regarding testable area of the front suspension?

Thanks

1. most use axle1 - 500kg, axle2 - 500kg axle3 - 0, total - 1000kg You could go 400,400,800. The test only checks that the actual kerb weight plus a fixed amount for occupants and luggage is less than the design weight. Braking is calculated from the kerb weight as weighed at the test.

2. They'll want reciepts for all major components (word is your friend) plus pictures of various stages of the build to show you built it.

3. Don't know as it's not a problem on a Fury.

Thank you.

Does not look to much work left to fill the form so will get that posted this week and hope for a test date of the beginning of October as that is now only a week away.
