Pinto Starter
As above needed thought id ask on here before i buy one of the bay.
Anyone have anything?

they are totally different starters the pinto and CVH what are you ftting too, the zetec uses the CVH starter as does the 1.8CVH engine
Life is like a bowl of fruit, funny how all the weird looking ones are left alone

As said there differant but the pinto could be used with a spacer.

I am using a pinto starter on my zetec,as Wasa says
a 14mm spacer and bobs your uncle.

The difference in Pinto and CVH starter is just the length of the nose and starter gear throw.

Ahhh ok thanks for the info. I'm after the pinto starter then! Need it for the type 9 bolted to the zetec.

Think the 8v twin cam starter fits the type9 too zetec
BUT i may be wrong

Jacko is right,the twin cam starter fits straight on but is harder to find.
