engine mounts and sump
Hello,
The wet weekend means that I have made some further progress on the build. Hopefully the coverings on the rack extenders will be IVA compliant
(Before anyone points it out, I know that I have to cover the nuts etc). I've used a couple of laser pointers to set up and I'm fairly
happy that I have 0.5mm toe in per side.

The next job is to get the sump on the BMW 2.8 engine cut to remove the bulge on the side that fouls the chassis and then to trial fit the engine so
that I can work out where to put all the bits around it. This has resulted in two questions and I would be grateful for some advice on
i) engine mounts on the bay seem to vary enormously on price. These are low cost ones, but will they do?

ii) Does anyone know someone in the Nottingham area who can weld ali sumps?

They are Avo ones (www.avouk.com), but I have thrown the box away and I cannot find the specification sheet at the moment to give you the exact
details - sorry.
