Accelerator Pedal Mount Viento

Hiya,

Me again, man of thousand questions!

This is my accelerator pedal, mount and bolt that came with my Viento. Putting the big bolt though the pedal and mount just seems a bit to rough. I was thinking something like a nylon bush or maybe a sort of crush tube setup might give a better 'feel' to the pedal. Any suggestions or am I making mountings out of very small mole hills.

Bit quiet in the Luego section recently. I guess we aren't getting very many 'newcomers' are we.

Tried a bit of grease? Maybe the powder coat needs scraping off around the pivot? The bolt is totally OTT so there are other options. Best keep it simple and with little resistance you don't want the accelerator sticking (don't ask How I know, in a 600kg you don't have much time to react!!)..

Yeah the bolt is huge for the job. You could probably swing the entire car from it.

no neeed for a bush or anything. It works well as it is and feel fine when driving. my only issue is needing to fit a pedal stop as the travel is more than I need. I'll get round to this once I snap the throttle cable.

may have fitted a washer each side to stop any sideways play. No need to have the bolt tight its a nylock.

NO problem with mine, all as std.
Just a little grease, and a light spring at the carb end.
