It does seem to be a fairly blunt instrument, but they do look like some blokes who are doing in a shed, half a planet away from the home Lotus Seven
(here), they do look like they're making it up as they're going along.
I'm sure that with a bit of guidance it can be tweaked into getting that nose to turn in a bit sharper.
He keeps reaching for his handbrake, which does seem a bit desperate.

Can't knock the bloke for building it, he's obviously put a lot of work into that car. However, it doesn't look or sound like a
350bhp seven (very lazy sounding V8), and the suspension clearly needs a bit of development.

Seems a bit strange to be mocking what is clearly a homebuilt 7 replica on forum dedicated to homebuilt 7 replicas ???

Keeps grabbing the handbrake ? Unless that is bias adjuster like f1 cars have they adjust braking when going into corners,
Give him credit for building it from scratch though even if it is not quite there yet on power or handling?
As long as he was having fun that's all that matters?
Not su I would want a drive though
Happy new year all,

Happy new year all,
It's a vertically mounted hydraulic handbrake.
Or, as on bloke I know with a Caterham calls it in his, the happy handle.
Someone else I know with a Fisher has one on his too.
Seems to be more popular with people with their roots in rallying.
He seems to know that the nose is going to run wide and keeps reaching for the handbrake to get the back out, then gives up. I reckon that in these
pictures he's very very new to the car.
All conjecture on my part, of course, but I would suggest it's a hydraulic handbrake.

That's a big track, which will make the car seem slow. That can't be a fly off hand brake, seems more like brake bias but who knows.
I spent a lot of money on booze, birds and fast cars. The rest I just squandered.

Turned out nicely. My car looks like it handles similarly, which I put down to too much air pressure and too stiff a shock setting on the front. I
need someone to help sort that come springtime.
Some people think that these are English cars, and should be reserved for English people, when they should be, er... chuffed, that they have
influenced the rest of the world in such a positive way.

On the tyre front, i originly had about 22psi and it was scarey going round bends, always felt as though it would slip off the bend, like in that
video, but now, its more around 14-16psi, and MUCH nicer feel

I'm not knocking him at all Davie, rather just find the title quite amusing.
