Golf countryman
Spotted one of these today parked In a front garden.

I actually think that's pretty damn cool! (although not a fan of the bullbar)
Would look epically retro in an Alpine setting with skis on the roof.

I saw one years ago, it did not look like that, just a slightly higher standard golf with synchro 4x4 running gear, the pre runner to the golf
4motion.
Looked quite useful, did not have all that extra rubbish bolted on.

Apparently they sold quite well and were quite popular in certain parts of the world if Wikipedia is to be believed. My Mk2 is currently on axle
stands on the drive and with some big tyres would look pretty similar...
A bird in the hand....
