That Pub at Newark we went to a few years ago?
Some moons ago we all visited a pub whilst at the Newark show.
It was turn right out the gate and in the next village.
I have checked Google Maps, and there appears to be two Pubs.
Which one did we go to, as I recall the food being quite reasonable.
If not, can anyone reccomend a good loacl pub that does decent food?
I am off to Newark for an event and just want to eat without driving all over the place to find a decent pub / grub.

Inn on the Green.
Unless I'm much mistaken.
Beware of the Goldfish in the tulip mines. The ONLY defence against them is smoking peanut butter sandwiches.

JGG... A belated thanks.
Like a lot of things I was overruled by the group I was with. We ended up in the Lord Nelson in Winthorpe.
ie Turne Left out the gate, over the roundabout, first left and its straight thru the village until you get to the pub.
Its a Bistro style Pub, a bit TOO Flash for my liking!
However, the food was very good, although not cheap.
I though for the money it was a bit pricey, but the quality made up for it.
Portions could have been bigger, but then most of you know what I am like with food
Hope this may be of interest to others when they go to Newark next year. (ie whether to go or not to go there).
Cheers
Geoff

Go out of the showground and head towards Lincoln and the 'dovecote' or whatever its called is two roundabouts further on. Go right at
the roundabout to get to the enormous carpark. They are bike and car club friendly with regular meets. Pretty good food and huge portions if
that's your thing.
